Job Title: Family Advocacy Program Training Specialist Location: United States Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz (USAG-RP), Germany Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth training sessions covering concepts, principles, theories, and techniques relevant to family advocacy within the military context. Deliver traditional face-to-face training to FAP personnel to facilitate optimal learning outcomes and foster collaboration among peers. Develop and update training materials to ensure alignment with the goals and objectives of the FAP program and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Provide opportunities for practical skill development and scenario-based learning to enhance the effectiveness of FAP personnel in addressing complex family dynamics and challenges. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback mechanisms and ongoing assessment, with a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging needs within the military community. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing training or education, preferably in the field of family advocacy or related areas. Knowledge of domestic abuse, child abuse/neglect, problematic sexual behavior in children-youth, and other harmful behaviors, with an understanding of their impact on military families.
